Kate Mallatratt holds an Advanced Diploma (degree level)kate-phoebe
in Canine Behaviour Management and runs her behaviour and training business, Contemplating Canines, in Sidmouth, East Devon, UK. She was founder member and secretary of International Canine Behaviourists and is a member of the Pet Professional Guild for force-free training. She teaches students world-wide through her online courses in advanced clicker training, concepts and tricks, specialising in error-reduced learning. Kate is author of Home alone… and happy! (published June 2016 by Hubble & Hattie) and has written for several magazines on canine behaviour and training issues including Barks from the Guild magazine, and currently writes quarterly articles for Animal Therapy Magazine. She is also Pet Remedy’s canine advisor. Kate takes a holistic approach to the management of her own dogs, treating them using homeopathy and feeding a raw diet alongside regular chiropractic treatment to maintain their health and wellbeing.
